This Bahama condominium kitchen utilizes glass tiles for the back splash resembling native island sea glass. The color reflects the ocean in its vast iridescent depth of tone and hue. The tile also faces the front (kick area) of the bar at the end of the kitchen, creating a natural division of rooms between the kitchen and living areas. This glass tile has a great visual impact as well as offering maintenance-free living.

My client and I had worked together for several years on numerous projects so when she said that she wanted her Bahama condo to be full of color and more contemporary than any other “typical condo” in the Caribbean, I knew exactly what she needed. Although I’ve never been to the island myself, we collaborated on everything from the floor plans through the construction. In fact, our planning started about a year prior to breaking ground with pictures of the surrounding area and drawing inspiration from the water, plants and flowers that were native to the island. The bright colors seen from the Lanai are reflected throughout the whole house giving it a natural flow.

My client is pleased to report that her time share condominium is among the most popular because of the high-end finishing and detail.
